On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO), made the Pandemic Emergency Declaration (COVID-19), and this led to the implementation of protection measures in various areas of society, in all Levels of education in Colombia The face -to -face classes were canceled, causing the assistance cessation of medical students in hospitals where they carried out their clinical practices, the purpose of this research is to describe the educational strategies applied to continue with clinical rotations, guaranteeing The development of the necessary competencies in the mental health program.Thanks to virtuality, it was allowed, in addition to providing quality learning, generating personalized accompaniment spaces to students due to the situation related to pandemic, as well as the design of teaching strategies and evaluation mechanisms innovative, the experience of change of change in The face -to -face education allowed multiple personal and technical learning, and the implementation of new methodologies and technological tools, obtaining favorable results in the execution of the course and its evaluation with adequate satisfaction, both in the teachers of psychiatry and in the students.
