Adverse skin reactions following different types of mask usage during the COVID19 pandemic

Using an online questionnaire for 1231 participants, the following data were reported. 62.3% reported adverse effects regarding the use of facial mask, acne 32.2%, pruritus 21%, skin oiliness with 14.7%, erythematous rash 12.7%, pain 9.3%, dry skin 4.7%, exacerbation of pre-existing skin problems 3.6 %, abrasion 0.6%. The survey was based on the general population and health personnel were not taken into account
