Spread of SARS-CoV-2 in the Icelandic Population

The study performed found that the percentage of participants who tested positive in screening remained stable (0.8%) over 20 days. These outcomes were expected with a slow spread of SARS-CoV-2 throughout Iceland, likely due to successful containment efforts. Results also showed that females and children under the age of 10 had lower incidence of infection than adolescents or adults and males.
